I’m so happy and proud to share my story, “Retroactive” published by New World Writing. Out of any story I’ve written, I’ve probably worked the hardest on this one. I started it two years ago, and I’ve taken it through series of revisions since then, and it’s been like my baby – the main character has had a special place in my heart for such a long time. It’s up there as one of my favorite stories I’ve written, so I’m very excited and humbled and honored to share it now and for the story and its characters to have a home and space in the world. And I’m all the more happy that this story is coming out right around Pride. It’s very Kentucky. It’s very queer. It’s a love story. It’s a queer Kentucky love story. Here:
